About the Role

Join Mater as a Clinical Pharmacist - Casual Position in United States. About the role We are growing our team! This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, professional Pharmacist to join our Clinical Services team, in a casual position.

Key Responsibilities

  • will work closely with hospital staff and patients to deliver a consistently high level of clinical pharmacy service by providing customers, patients, carers and other health professionals with support and information relating to medication and medication safety practices.
  • will be working across public and private inpatient areas including general medical, surgical and obstetric wards as well as inpatient dispensaries which manages medication distribution to all clinical areas including day units, procedural areas, Hospital in the Home and the Mater Infusion Clinic.
  • develop clinical pharmacy skills and expertise within a range of clinical specialties: * paediatrics and ado.
  • provide a comprehensive pharmacy service and strive to maintain the highest level of professionalism in all.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy
  • APHRA registration to practice as a Pharmacist (without restrictions) Other highly regarded attributes include:
  • Prior demonstrated experience in ward
  • based clinical pharmacy
