Key Responsibilities

The technologist assists physicians during interventional radiology procedures by operating radiological equipment and maintaining sterile techniques. They are also responsible for patient preparation, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a high school diploma, with an associate or bachelor's degree preferred, along with current ARRT certification or state licensure. Experience with interventional equipment and sterile techniques is required, and candidates must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds.
