Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient ophthalmology clinical care, including patient evaluations and follow-ups.
- Perform cataract surgeries and intravitreal injections.
- Maintain a high volume of clinic patients (minimum 4 patients per hour).
- Perform surgical procedures (12-14 per day) in the first week of each two-week rotation.
- Collaborate with supporting MAs and ensure efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities
Provide outpatient ophthalmology clinical care, including patient evaluations and follow-ups. Perform cataract surgeries, intravitreal injections, and various diagnostic interpretations.
Requirements
Must be a Board Certified Ophthalmologist with a valid Michigan license or IMLC. Requires BLS certification and proficiency in surgical and non-surgical ophthalmic procedures.
