About This Position

The Practice Administrator is responsible for the oversight, coordination and direction of the day-to-day clinical operations in collaboration Chair and Vice-Chair of Clinical Operations for the Department of Family Medicine.

Assist Departmental Chair/Vice Chair with business operations for clinic locations to ensure appropriate education and procedures are in place for optimal clinic flow and revenue generation.

Assist with the implementation and interpretation of departmental and university policies and procedures that govern clinic operations. Assist in marketing the department to maintain a public relations program that serves the best interest of the practice and community.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

(degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)

• Minimum five (5) years' experience in a related role.

Skills, Proficiencies, And/or Knowledge

Interpersonal skills are required to interact effectively with faculty, students, clients and providers. Typing and computer skills (including word processing, data entry, and spreadsheet utilization) are required. Skills related to purchasing, billing, and budget management. Strong organizational, office management, and supervisory skills required.
