Specialty Care Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology (Heart Center)

Key Responsibilities

The primary focus is delivering world-class virtual-first cardiology care, conducting virtual consultations for general cardiology and heart failure patients, ordering diagnostics, and developing treatment plans. Responsibilities include formulating diagnoses, managing guideline-directed medical therapies (GDMT), monitoring volume overload, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

Candidates must be an experienced APRN with five or more years in outpatient or inpatient cardiology clinical practice, including experience with telehealth video platforms. Active and clear RN and APRN licenses in Texas, APRN certification, and active BLS are required, along with a willingness to obtain multi-state licensure.
