Join ORTHOCINCY as a Physical Therapist OL in Jeffersontown, Kentucky. General Job Summary: As a physical therapist with Ortho Louisville, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients according to a treatment plan that you develop. You will also be collaborating with team members to assist patients with a full recovery after surgery or injury.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and adhere to state practice act including rules of supervision for support staff.
- Maintain state licensure and complete continuing education regularly to stay current on the practice of physical therapy to best serve our patients.
- Evaluate and treat patients in need of skilled physical therapy services with proper documentation to support medical necessity of treatment.
- Facilitate open communication with physicians, co-workers and patients to provide the best comprehensive care possible for the community we serve.
