Opportunity for anesthesiologist with Level II trauma center, OSF St Joseph

Medical Center in Bloomington, IL. Since caring for its first patient in 1880,

center offers six ORs, a recently acquired da Vinci Surgical System, and Mako

Responsibilities

• Case assignments: Neuro, ortho, general, and more

• Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia

• Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered

• Pre-anesthesia assessment

• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent

• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient

• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia

• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition

• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements

• M. D./D. O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine

• ECFMG and FLEX

• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia

• Currently licensed as a physician

• Salary: $550K annually
• 13 weeks PTO
• Sign-on bonus: $100K; Loan repayment or training assistance program options

available
