Who We Are

NeueHealth is a value-driven healthcare company grounded in the belief that all health consumers are entitled to high-quality, coordinated care. NeueHealth delivers clinical care to health consumers through our owned clinics – Centrum Health and Premier Medical – as well as unique partnerships with affiliated providers across the country.

We also enable providers to succeed in performance-based arrangements through a suite of technology and services scaled centrally and deployed locally. Through our value-driven, consumer-centric approach, we are committed to transforming healthcare and creating a better care experience for all.

Position Overview

Premier Medical Associates is seeking a qualified and compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD or DO) to join our established healthcare organization on a part-time basis, providing care at our Gunn Highway and Riverview locations in the Tampa market.

This opportunity is ideal for physicians seeking a flexible work schedule, including semi-retired physicians, experienced providers interested in reducing their clinical hours, or physicians looking for supplemental clinical work.

The selected physician will provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

  • Collaborate with care teams, specialists, and ancillary providers to ensure coordinated, integrated care.

Utilize EMR systems effectively for accurate documentation, coding, and compliance with value-based programs (e. g., HEDIS, CMS Star Ratings, RAF/HCC coding).

Engage patients in shared decision-making and educate them on preventive health measures, lifestyle modifications, and self-management strategies.

Monitor outcomes and participate in quality improvement initiatives designed to enhance patient care and organizational performance.

Stay current with advancements in Family and Internal Medicine, population health, and value-based models of care.

Qualifications

  • A state license to practice medicine in Florida.
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (required).
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in primary care, with demonstrated Value-Based Care experience.
  • Strong knowledge of chronic disease management, preventive care, and population health strategies.
  • Familiarity with HCC/RAF coding, quality metrics (HEDIS, Stars), and risk-adjusted payment models preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build long-term patient relationships and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care with measurable outcomes in mind.
