Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Lansing, MI.

• Location: Lansing, MI
• Hourly Pay: $ 26.00
• Non-taxed Stipend: $ 1064.00
• Weekly Total Pay: $ 1766.00
• Weekend Requirements: Every third weekend
• On Call Requirements: Yes
• Nonbillable Hours: 12 hours
• Dress Code: Galaxy blue scrubs
• EMR: Cerner

Travel Policy: Anyone with a permanent address within a 35 mile radius of facility is considered a local traveler.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures.
• Responsible for the delivery of respiratory therapy and patient care following physician’s orders, hospital policies and procedures; and departmental standards of care and standards of practice.
• Evaluates patient/resident response to respiratory therapy and takes appropriate corrective action.
• Provides education to patients and staff regarding respiratory procedures, equipment operation, and safety precautions.
• Performs routine maintenance and service checks on equipment.
• Maintains records, reports, and other documentation related to the work.

Compensation

• Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Must have 2+ years of RRT experience
• Must have Ventilator, Bipap, ICU, ER, and ABG trained therapist
• Must have ACLS & NBRC certification
• Must pass a dysrhythmia test prior to working on the floor
• Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
• Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability

Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
