Description
OrthoVirginia’s Herndon practice is an extension of the OrthoVirginia network.
This network has over 100 orthopedic specialists at more than 30 sites and is
the state’s largest provider of orthopedic medicine and therapy. The
OrthoVirginia Herndon practice is equipped with the most up-to-date orthopedic
treatment and technology to deliver the highest level of care that Northern VA
has to offer.

Requirements
Responsibilities
* Pre-anesthesia assessment
* Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
* Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
* Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
* Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
* Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Requirements
* Current license as a registered professional nurse
* Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
* Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse
