Join a collaborative team of school-based OTs providing virtual support to districts throughout California as our new Occupational Therapist. This remote role includes IEP preparation, participation in IEP meetings, COTA supervision and mentorship, and coordination with fellow OTs to ensure consistent meeting coverage and exceptional student-centered services. We're seeking a highly organized communicator who thrives in a team environment and is passionate about supporting students, families, and educational teams.

$47.50 - $53.47/hr*
*Salary range is contingent upon relatable experience, type of credentialing/certification, education, and use of a second language in your role (50% of the time).

Expectations:
Prepare, review, and finalize occupational therapy sections of IEPs, assessment reports, and related special education documentation in compliance with California and IDEA requirements.
Attend and actively participate in virtual IEP meetings, collaborating with families, district staff, and multidisciplinary team members to support student-centered outcomes.
Provide clinical supervision, guidance, and mentorship to COTAs, ensuring services are implemented effectively and in accordance with applicable regulations and professional standards.
Coordinate with a team of Occupational Therapists to ensure timely coverage of IEP meetings, assessments, and consultation needs across assigned districts.
Maintain organized schedules, caseload documentation, and communication systems to support efficient service delivery and successful team collaboration.
Consult with school personnel, caregivers, and service providers to develop practical strategies that support student participation, access, and progress within educational environments.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture by sharing expertise, supporting colleagues, and helping maintain high-quality occupational therapy services.
Minimum Requirements:
License / Certification from the state of California in Occupational Therapy
Access to a mobile phone (for email) & basic internet (if working offsite)
Hold appropriate automobile insurance with limits that allow driving a personal vehicle for work (at least 25/50k liability coverage)
Must clear a current background check through the FBI and DOJ
A current TB Test
Environment & Physical Qualifications:

Moderate to loud noise levels and physical demands may vary
