Key Responsibilities
The physician assistant or nurse practitioner will examine patients, order diagnostic tests, and develop patient management plans within an occupational medicine setting. They are also responsible for performing therapeutic procedures, maintaining accurate medical documentation, and providing compassionate patient care.
Requirements
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited PA or NP program and hold current state licensure and DEA registration. A DOT certification and FMCSA NRCME are required, with 2-3 years of experience in urgent care or occupational medicine preferred.
