Overview: Position: Northside Gwinnett Pelvic Health Physical TherapistLocation: Lawrenceville, GeorgiaExperience: Physical Therapist with experience evaluating and treating pelvic health conditions. Employment Type: Full-TimeInnovative Therapy Concepts is a Physical Therapist owned and operated Therapy management organization that was founded by Joe Sapp, PT in 2006. We began our partnership with Northside Gwinnett in 2013 to provide therapy services throughout the Northside Gwinnett system. ITC is searching for a Physical Therapist with a passion for pelvic health and patient recovery. You will work with a variety of pelvic health conditions including urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, pre/post-natal care, prostatectomy and more. Two years of experience in pelvic health is recommended.

Experienced Physical Therapist with a strong drive to learn and grow - enhance your clinical skills while working with an experienced team
Candidate with a strong emphasis on patient care, quality, outcomes, and efficiency
Graduate from a APTA accredited Physical Therapy Program
Current Pelvic Rehab certification: CAPP-Pelvic, CAP-OB, WCS or PRPC.
Licensed as physical therapist in state of Georgia.
Responsible individual with a solid work ethic
Excellent communication and people skills
Current AHA BLS certification
Responsibilities
Appropriately assesses and examines patients with varying diagnoses according to PT scope of practice.
Treats patient within the PT scope of practice.
Teaches patients how to use and care for orthotic, prosthetic devices, and other assistive apparati.
Provides education to patients, caregivers and associates regarding PT interventions, safety, community resources and outcomes.
Recommends appropriate adaptive equipment for ambulation and functional mobility.
Coordinates and leads groups.
Attends and participates in care planning meetings as assigned.
Communicates and collaborates with all customers and interdisciplinary team members.
Maintains gym area and equipment.
Contributes to profits and revenues including marketing and productivity.
Participates in budget development and cost saving efforts.
Serves on performance improvement teams.
Participates in community services.
Supervises treatment and documentation of the physical therapy assistant.
Delegates treatment tasks to PTAs and aides in accordance with PT state practice guidelines.
Provides care and documentation in accordance with regulatory, legal, and reimbursement guidelines.
Accepts responsibility for own growth and development through inservices, required programs and continuing education.
Complies with all established hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
Maintains CPR certification.
Assumes responsibility for completing all assignments and tasks in a timely and cost efficient manner.
