Job Description​

Saint Luke’s Physician Group in Kansas City is recruiting a BC/BE orthopedic surgeon to join our team at Saint Luke’s North Hospital-Barry Road. We are seeking a well-rounded orthopedic surgeon with the ability to provide a broad range of orthopedic care.

Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction is preferred; general orthopedists and other subspecialists will also be considered on an individual basis. Candidates with experience are preferred; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Practice a blend of inpatient, outpatient, and surgical orthopedic care at Saint Luke's North Hospital and the nearby Saint Luke's Surgery Center at Shoal Creek.

Dedicated OR block time to support surgical efficiency and practice growth.

Strong and established referral network with robust internal referrals from Saint Luke's primary care and specialty providers.

Collaborate with a comprehensive multidisciplinary team, including Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), social workers, care coordinators, and subspecialty experts

Strong specialty support, including collaboration with Plastics/Hand Surgery, podiatry, wound care, physiatry, and pain management.

1:6 home call schedule with general orthopedic ER call responsibilities. Candidates should be comfortable evaluating and managing a broad spectrum of orthopedic cases presenting through the emergency department.

Must have successfully completed, or be nearing completion of, an accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency program and be eligible for medical licensure in both Missouri and Kansas. Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction/Hip & Knee is preferred.
