Job Description

● Job Title: Locum CRNA

● Employment Status: 1099

● Job Type: Locum / Contract

● Location: Southwest Indiana

● Duration: 3-6 months

● Shifts: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week guarantee for full weeks

● Call: Required. Weeknight call is 5 p. m.–7 a. m. Weekend call consists of 24‑hour shifts. A 30‑minute response time is required. Provider receives the post‑call day off.

● Case Types: General, Endo, Ortho and Joint Replacement, Urology, Ophthalmology, OB/GYN, ENT and Radiology

● Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days

● EMR: EPIC

● Supervision Model: Independent but MD onsite.

● Special Considerations: Provider must be proficient in epidurals, spinals, and regional blocks, and must submit case logs demonstrating this competency. A minimum of 250 cases per year for two years is required. Provider must also be enrolled with INPCF and hold an active Indiana RN license.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, sound judgment, and a patient-centered approach to care. This locum opportunity offers flexibility while allowing the CRNA to work within a collaborative, well-supported anesthesia care team.

Requirements

● Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re-certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)

● Valid, unrestricted RN license in Indiana

● Minimum of 1–3 years of CRNA experience preferred; proficiency in epidurals, spinals and blocks

● Strong clinical knowledge and ability to provide anesthesia care to diverse patient populations

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and the care team

● BLS and ACLS required; PALS and other advanced certifications as applicable. ACLS must be American Heart Association.
