Autism Diagnostic Evaluator / Licensed Psychologist | Full-Time | Pediatrics | Jacksonville, FL
Great Strides Rehabilitation, a H2 Health company, is seeking an experienced Autism Diagnostic Evaluator / Licensed Psychologist to join our growing pediatric diagnostic team in Jacksonville, Florida. This hybrid opportunity offers the ability to combine meaningful face-to-face clinical work with remote flexibility while helping children and families access accurate diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and supportive resources. At Great Strides Rehabilitation, you'll work alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary pediatric team dedicated to supporting children with developmental, behavioral, and communication needs. This position plays a key role in the continued growth of our pediatric diagnostic program, providing comprehensive Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and developmental evaluations that help guide treatment planning and improve outcomes for children and families.
Your Role
Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for children with suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental concerns.
Complete parent and caregiver interviews and review developmental, medical, educational, and behavioral histories.
Administer, score, and interpret standardized assessment tools and diagnostic instruments appropriate for pediatric populations.
Formulate diagnoses consistent with current clinical standards and diagnostic criteria.
Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports with clear clinical findings and recommendations.
Provide diagnostic feedback and education to parents and caregivers.
Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, behavioral health providers, physicians, educators, and other members of the child's care team.
Recommend and coordinate referrals for ABA therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, behavioral health services, school supports, and other community resources as appropriate.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation while adhering to payer, regulatory, and professional requirements.
Support the development and expansion of the pediatric diagnostic program.
Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited program.
Current Florida licensure as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, or other qualifying credential that allows independent diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Experience conducting pediatric developmental and autism diagnostic evaluations.
Experience administering and interpreting autism and developmental assessment instruments preferred.
Strong clinical interviewing, assessment, and diagnostic report-writing skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
Commitment to delivering compassionate, family-centered care.
