Overview
UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook, GlenOaks, Hinsdale and La Grange hospitals are affiliated with UChicago Medicine, one of the top academic medical centers in the country. We are also part of AdventHealth, a unified health system with over 50 hospital campuses and hundreds of care sites in diverse markets throughout 9 states.
Responsibilities
Join a well-established, growing Neurology program within UChicago Medicine AdventHealth. We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Neurologist to provide comprehensive neurological care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. This opportunity offers primarily outpatient practice with access to advanced diagnostic and imaging resources, strong primary care and specialty referral relationships, and the support of experienced Neurologists and Advanced Practice Providers. Candidates with experience in stroke care and cerebrovascular disease management are preferred. This employed position provides the opportunity to build a robust general neurology practice while pursuing areas of clinical interest.
- Practice Details
- Primarily outpatient practice with flexible scheduling options.
- Evaluate and treat a wide range of neurological conditions, including:
- Headaches and migraines
- Epilepsy and seizure disorders
- Neuromuscular disorders
- Parkinson's disease and movement disorders
- Multiple sclerosis
- Memory and cognitive disorders
- Peripheral neuropathy
- Cerebrovascular disease and stroke follow-up care
- Collaborate with hospital-based teams to ensure continuity of care for stroke patients.
- Participate in the evaluation, management, and secondary prevention of stroke and cerebrovascular conditions.
- Dedicated clinical support staff and access to advanced diagnostic testing.
- Strong referral base and established primary care partnerships.
- Annual Salary: $290k-$360k
Qualifications
- Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Neurology residency program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
