The Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and performing interventions to improve functionality and safety in a home health setting. They must also document patient progress and instruct families and caregivers on how to assist with therapy activities.
Candidates must hold a valid Occupational Therapist license and registration from the state and have completed an accredited Occupational Therapist program. Enthusiasm for working with patients of all ages is required, and being bilingual is considered a plus.
