Key Responsibilities

The Social Worker provides trauma-informed, family-centered support to strengthen parent-child relationships and promote healthy youth development through respite services. Responsibilities include conducting in-home sessions across all five boroughs, leading service planning, and coordinating crisis prevention and stabilization.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field and possess at least 2 years of experience in child welfare. Strong communication skills, knowledge of child development, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends are required.
