Social Worker-Compressed Schedule (Overnights)

Key Responsibilities

The social worker will facilitate patient discharges within the Emergency Department and collaborate with interprofessional teams to address patient needs. They will provide direct care and prevention services to support the physical, emotional, and social well-being of patients and their families.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a valid NYS LMSW or LCSW license. The role requires strong clinical skills in rapid psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, and the ability to coordinate resources effectively within hospital and community networks.
