School Based Therapist

Location: Ste Genevieve, MO

Pay Range

• Provisionally Licensed (LMSW or PLPC): $50,620 minimum annually and additional depending on experience
• Fully Licensed (LCSW or LPC): $53,120 minimum and additional depending on experience
• Schedule Flexibility
• Full - Time - Monday - Friday
• Four 10 - hour days (approx. 7:30am - 6:00pm)
• Five 8 - hour days (approx. 7:30am - 4:00pm)

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in social work, counseling, or related human services field
• LMSW, PLPC, LCSW, LPC (or eligible - new graduate encouraged to apply)

Must hold Valid Driver's License (Class E for Missouri or Class D for IL Residents - Obtain on start date) and current continuous auto insurance.

Job Summary

Responsible for providing clinical therapy to children and adolescents based on clinical need as identified by school staff. Additionally, School-Based Therapists help in identifying who may qualify for the CPRC program and make necessary referrals for clients, as well as their families. The School-Based Therapist regularly consults with school staff in developing a multi-disciplinary approach to meeting the client's needs.

Job Duties

Provide direct mental health services and referrals to include consent to treat, releases of confidential information, and completed CCC packet.

• Coordinate services between the schools and CCC.
• Create and maintain a calendar with daily therapeutic activities.

Complete treatment plans, progress notes, DLA-20, updates, and all chart requirements. Involve family and school in treatment planning, working with the family system to facilitate the needs of the child.

• Act as a liaison between agency and community resources.
• Follow up on no show appointments.
• Coordinate services with other providers internally and externally.

Participate in the on-call schedule rotation as agreed upon by SBT Supervisor and Director of Outpatient and Emergency Services.

Document according to clinical policies and procedures, DMH, CARF, and any other federal or state program per agency standards.

Responsible for transporting clients in agency and/or personal vehicle as deemed necessary and appropriate to meet program requirements.
