Key Responsibilities
The Medical Director provides direct clinical patient care and leads a hospital-based consult liaison psychiatry team at the Alaska Native Medical Center. They are responsible for evaluating neuropsychiatric symptoms and facilitating transitions of care across emergency and inpatient settings.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an M.D. or D.O. degree, possess a valid Alaska medical license, and maintain current American Board certification. A minimum of two years of post-residency experience is required, along with BLS certification and relevant specialty certifications.
