Key Responsibilities
The psychiatrist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with mental health disorders while developing individualized treatment plans. They must also manage medications and collaborate with the multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) and be board certified or board eligible in psychiatry. A valid state medical license and current DEA credentials for prescribing controlled substances are required.
