Responsibilities

The Horsham Clinic is seeking a dynamic and talented Masters Level Social Worker for our Child/Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program in Ambler, PA.

The Horsham Clinic is a 206 bed private behavioral healthcare facility located on a beautiful 55-acre suburban campus. We are minutes from Philadelphia and we serve Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

The Horsham Clinic provides comprehensive behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and their families. Programs and services are located on the main campus in Ambler, Pennsylvania, as well as satellite day hospital programs in Pennsylvania, Delaware County, and Chester County.

Summary

The Social Worker/Therapist provides clinical social work services on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of The Horsham Clinic and the NASW. The Social Worker/Therapist is responsible for psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, and discharge planning/case management service, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the hospital.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work required
• 3-5 years prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population required

Inpatient Psychiatric Population Experience Preferred

• Knowledge of case management, discharge planning, group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management
• Experience with individual therapy
• Understanding and implementation of evidence-based practice across multiple dialogistic criteria
• Must be a team player and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication.
