Job Description

GP + Urgent Care Associate Veterinarian – CityVet West Moore Veterinary Clinic & Urgent Care

The Freedom to Practice. The Support to Thrive.

Love the variety of urgent care but still enjoy building lasting relationships with clients? At CityVet West Moore, you don't have to choose.

Our hybrid General Practice and Urgent Care hospital offers the best of both worlds, preventive medicine, surgery, dentistry, and same-day medical cases that keep every day interesting. Whether you're performing a routine dental in the morning or stabilizing an urgent walk-in that afternoon, you'll have the support, equipment, and team to practice high-quality medicine with confidence.

A Team That Truly Enjoys Working Together

At CityVet West Moore, culture isn't something we talk about, it's something Dr. Cowdrey and the team have built.

Led by an experienced veterinarian who values professionalism, teamwork, and thoughtful patient care, our hospital is home to a close-knit team that genuinely enjoys working together. You will be supported by a talented group of veterinary assistants who have worked alongside Dr. Cowdrey for years. That stability translates into efficient workflows, excellent patient care, and a team that knows how to have fun while working hard.

Outside the hospital, you'll often find the team spending time together, celebrating wins, and building friendships that make coming to work something everyone looks forward to.

Why You'll Love Practicing Here

CityVet West Moore is open seven days a week and serves as a trusted destination for both primary care and urgent medical needs. Our busiest days are weekends, making this an ideal opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys a dynamic caseload and the challenge of same-day medicine.

  • Treatment area with T-table
  • Piloter ultrasound
  • Handheld digital dental radiography
  • Cold laser therapy
  • Cautery
