Key Responsibilities
Provide inpatient general surgery coverage on a call-only basis, including beeper call with a 30-minute response time and call-backs as needed. Manage assigned and unassigned patient rounds, admissions, phone consultations, and the required general surgery procedures.
Requirements
Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible and hold an active Mississippi medical license or IMLC eligibility, along with BLS and ATLS certifications. A fellowship is preferred, and temporary hospital privileges are available.
