Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Adelphi is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school speech-language pathology services in a school setting in Yuma, Arizona.

The ideal candidate will assist/provide evaluations, direct and consultative therapy, and IEP-related support services to students in accordance with school district requirements while supporting student communication development, educational access, and continuity of care.

Requirements

• Applicable professional qualifications, licenses, and certifications required to provide speech-language pathology services within an educational setting.

• Appropriately licensed and/or certified SLP (or supervised SLP Assistant where permitted by applicable law and licensing requirements).

• Experience providing speech-language services in a school or pediatric setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students.

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language services based on student needs.

• Develop recommendations, goals, accommodations, and interventions tailored to individual students.

• Provide services addressing articulation, language, fluency, voice, and functional communication.

• Support augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) needs when within scope and requested by the District.

• Monitor and document student progress throughout the course of services.

• Participate in IEP meetings and other student-related meetings as requested.

• Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents/guardians, administrators, and other service providers.

• Prepare evaluation reports, progress reports, and required service documentation within District timelines.
