Key Responsibilities
The oncology nurse provides comprehensive care to gynecologic cancer patients, including the safe mixing and administration of chemotherapy. They also monitor patient health, manage side effects, and collaborate with the medical team to implement treatment plans.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a valid Registered Nurse license in Texas. At least one year of oncology experience and BLS certification are required, with ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certification needed within six months of hire.
