Associate Veterinarian

CityVet is hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join our collaborative, doctor‑led team. This position will be split between our Lower South End and our Charlotte Uptown locations.

Dr. Tylanda Johnson, Lead Veterinary Partner at CityVet | Lower South End, is dedicated to delivering compassionate, personalized veterinary care for pets and their families. She believes the best veterinary medicine starts with partnership, which means working closely with pet parents to understand each pet’s unique needs, personality, and treatment plan. Inspired by a lifelong passion for protecting animals, Dr. Johnson has built a veterinary practice focused on kindness, trust, and high-quality care. Her team strives to create a warm, welcoming environment where pets feel safe, and families feel confident in their decisions. Outside the clinic, Dr. Johnson enjoys DIY projects and giving back to the global community through mission trips, including to Uganda, where she visits and supports a local children’s home.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent.
• Licensed to practice in this state or eligible for licensure.
• A collaborative spirit and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
• Interest in General Practice and/or Urgent Care medicine.
