As a WeCARE Psychologist, you support clients throughout their journey toward improved health and meaningful employment. Position Overview The Psychologist collaborates closely with the Medical Director to implement standard operating procedures and ensure adherence to NYC HRA contractual requirements. Primary responsibilities include conducting Psychological Assessments for clients when: They disagree with their Functional Capacity Outcome determination, or A Functional Capacity Outcome cannot be determined following a Clinical Assessment and potential mental health barriers to employment are identified. You will also serve as a clinical resource for WeCARE staff to help ensure that program goals and contractual obligations are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
The psychologist will conduct psychological assessments to determine employability for individuals with mental health conditions and assist with federal disability applications. They will also collaborate with the medical director to ensure adherence to contractual requirements and serve as a clinical resource for program staff.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) and possess an active license to practice psychology in the State of New York. A minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in disability evaluations.
