Key Responsibilities

The PMHNP will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning across crisis residential units and hospital settings. They will also participate in a shared call schedule and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited PMHNP program and be a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. An active Alabama license or the ability to obtain one is required, along with experience in inpatient or crisis psychiatry.
