Key Responsibilities
The Physician Assistant will provide clinical and surgical support to a total joint replacement surgeon, including performing pre-operative physicals and assisting in surgeries. Responsibilities also include managing in-office procedures, patient counseling, and participating in urgent care and on-call coverage.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program and possess NCCPA certification. A Connecticut license, DEA registration, and BLS/ACLS certifications are required, with preference given to those with orthopedic or surgical experience.
