Nicholas J. Molinaro, DDS is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our established family dental practice in Catonsville, Maryland on a part-time basis.

Full Time Dental Hygienist Schedule

• Tuesday-Thursday 9:00am - 5:00pm with 1 hour lunch
• Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm no lunch

Highly Competitive Compensation: $65.00 - $68.00 Hourly based on experience and skills or an adjusted production compensation model at 35 percent

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience
• Screening patients and providing quality care during check-ups
• Educating patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene care
• Reviewing patient's history and charting
• Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
• Documents area of existing restorations
• Use of X-ray
• Support the dentist with procedures as needed

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Dental Hygienist license required
• Must follow AAP (American Academy of Periodontology) staging and grading for patient care
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
• Current BLS/CPR certifications
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
• Minimum 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience preferred, new grads are welcome!
• Knowledgeable about perio health and comfortable with patient education
• Experience with dental practice software
• Team Player - strong collaborator that is open, positive and flexible
