Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and surgical otolaryngology care for adult patients in an inpatient setting
- Manage on-call coverage for assigned and unassigned patients, responding within 15‑20 minutes
- Perform required endoscopic procedures, tracheotomies, thyroidectomies, and other ENT surgeries
- Round on patients (both assigned and unassigned) and handle admissions as needed
- Document in EMR systems (Athena and Cerner) and adhere to hospital protocols
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical and surgical otolaryngology care for adult patients in an inpatient setting, including rounding and admissions. Manage on-call coverage for assigned and unassigned patients with a 15-20 minute response time.
Requirements
Must be Board Certified in Otolaryngology and hold a valid California medical license. Candidates are required to have at least 50 case logs from the past 24 months and current BLS certification.
