Job description
Join Liquid Personnel as a Social Worker - Children’s Safeguarding & Care Planning in Teesside, United Kingdom.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of children and young people subject to Child Protection Plans and Children in Need.
- Conducting thorough, child-centred Section 47 investigations and risk assessments.
- Leading on Public Law Outline (PLO) and representing the authority in court proceedings where necessary.
- Collaborating with a multi-agency "Children’s Hub" to ensure early help and preventative measures are integrated into long-term safety planning.
Requirements
- To be successful in this role you must have,.
- Education: Degree in Social Work.
- Registration: Active registration with Social Work England.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience in a statutory Safeguarding, Child Protection, or Assessment team.

Licensure & Certifications
Candidates must possess a Degree in Social Work and maintain active registration with Social Work England, along with a minimum of two years of post-qualifying experience in a statutory Safeguarding, Child Protection, or Assessment team. Essential skills include excellent report-writing for court and the ability to build trusting relationships with families, plus a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
