Job description
Employment Type: Part time Shift: Rotating Shift Description: Schedule/ Hours: 20hrs per week Primary Shift: 3rd Shift Secondary Shift: 2nd shift weekends and holidays to be scheduled in accordance with CBA What the Radiologic Technologist will do: Greet patients, explain procedures and answer questions and instruct patient during the procedures. Prepare proper sterile tray and contrast media for procedures. Perform radiologic examinations on patients with proper positioning and technique. Assist physicians during specialized procedures. Evaluate images within PACS and close study appropriately for prompt reading. Print charts Access and document patient information in the patient medical record. Input entry and selection of charges. What the Radiologic Technologist will need: Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Key Responsibilities
Perform radiologic examinations on patients using proper positioning and technique while assisting physicians during specialized procedures. Manage patient documentation, evaluate images within PACS, and handle the preparation of sterile trays and contrast media.
Requirements
Must be a graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology. Requires registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
