Job description
● Job Title: Locum CRNA
● Employment Status: 1099
● Job Type: Locum / Contract
● Location: Central Massachusetts
● Duration: 3-6 months
● Shifts: 8, 10, 12, 16 or 24 hour OB/OR shifts, starting at 7am
● Call: 7PM-7AM during the week (30% call back) and 7AM-7AM on the weekends (80% call back). CRNAs take weekday call approximately once a month and twice a year on weekends. OB CRNA call is in-house (24 hours).
● Case Types: General, ortho, urology, ENT/ophthalmology, bariatric, vascular, neuro, thoracic, GYN, dermatology, plastic, cardiac and OB. No trauma, there is always 1 MD 2 CRNAs in-house 24 hours a day. 19 ORS plus endo, cardiac and OB. 15,000 OR cases annually. In addition, approximately 2000 deliveries and 300 cardiac case including TAVR, mitral valve clip and watchman procedures, on and off pump, CABG, cardiac ablation and TEE.

● Supervision Model: Care Team Model: Cases for the OR are medically directed, OB CRNAs are supervised.
● Special Considerations: Cardiac cases are medically directed and some of the CRNAs do hearts
Job Summary
Access Healthcare Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a qualified Locum CRNA to provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care across a range of clinical settings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, sound judgment, and a patient-centered approach to care. Requirements
● Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re-certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
● Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Massachusetts
● Minimum of 1–3 years of CRNA experience preferred; proficiency in various case types
● Strong clinical knowledge and ability to provide anesthesia care to diverse patient populations
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and the care team
● BLS and ACLS required; PALS and other advanced certifications as applicable
