Position Details

At La Clinica's Birch Grove Health Center, we are dedicated to providing integrated primary care for patients with substance use disorders and/or severe and persistent mental illness. Our

approach is grounded in a harm reduction philosophy, focused on meeting patients where they are and supporting them on their journey to successful daily living.

We operate as a highly collaborative, integrated care team, featuring on-site partnerships with addiction recovery and behavioral health specialists. Our team also maintains strong working relationships with local hospitals and the community justice system to provide comprehensive, wrap-around care. Through our case management services, we empower patients with the tools and support they need to achieve their personal goals.

Position Highlights

• La Clinica encourages a work/life balance with full-time employees generally working a four-day week, with four weeks of paid vacation per year to start, in addition to a week of CME.
• Participation in the on-call rotation is optional, with additional compensation.
• We are a National Health Service Corp (NHSC) loan repayment site, with a medical HPSA score of 19.

Qualifications:

• Successful applicants must have graduated from an accredited school with board certification or board eligibility.
• We prefer experience with low-income children and families and in migrant and community health.
• English language fluency is expected, and Spanish language proficiency is valued.
• Applicants must possess an active Oregon license.
• Applicants must also possess CPR certification and an active DEA license.

Preferred Qualifications for our Birch Grove Health Center Location:

• Experience treating Substance Use Disorders
• Experience treating Severe and Persistent Mental Illness
• Experience giving Gender Affirming Care
