Key Responsibilities
The Behavioral Health Technician provides direct, compassionate patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse to support individuals with addiction and mental health challenges. They are responsible for maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment and proactively communicating clinical observations to the management team.
Requirements
Candidates must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. and at least one year of relevant experience in behavioral health, allied health, or as an EMT. Applicants are also required to obtain and maintain BLS Heartsaver and WELLE certifications.
