Position Details
- Location: North Carolina
- Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Summary
We are hiring an LMFT licensed in North Carolina to work with individuals, couples, and families through telehealth. You will meet with clients who may be dealing with relationship difficulties, parenting concerns, family changes, anxiety, or other issues affecting their personal lives.
Your day will mainly consist of scheduled therapy sessions, completing notes, and following up on anything that needs further attention. You will have room to use your own clinical experience and judgment while staying connected with the team when consultation is needed.
Responsibilities
- Meet with individuals, couples, and families for virtual therapy appointments
- Learn about the concerns that brought each client to counseling
- Help clients work through relationship, parenting, and family-related issues
- Provide ongoing support based on what is discussed during sessions
- Keep clinical notes and required records current
- Follow up when a concern needs closer attention
- Recognize when another service or referral may be helpful
- Respond appropriately to safety concerns that arise during care
- Maintain confidentiality and follow North Carolina professional requirements
- Active LMFT license in North Carolina
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families
- Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
- Strong clinical documentation and treatment planning skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for remote care

Requirements
Candidates must hold an active LMFT license in North Carolina and a Master’s degree in a relevant field. Proficiency in telehealth platforms, clinical documentation, and strong communication skills are required.
