Job Summary

The APRN or Physician Assistant provides nursing and medical services to individuals, families, and groups, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention as well as diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases.

Works autonomously as well as in collaboration with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage clients' health care problems. Maintains an annual protocol with supervising physician, as required by state professional regulatory agencies.

Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision, and values in accordance with Tampa General Hospital.

The APP on the TGPN Urology Service will work closely with the attending and the team on a daily basis. Primary responsibilities will include providing follow up care for inpatients, as well as some new patient evaluations, clinical coordination, operating room, and management. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in hospital inpatient robotics or urology care. Hours and training will cover weekdays (5) eight-hour days.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Florida.
• Acute Care or Adult Gerontology Acute Care board certification AND Registered nurse first assist (RNFA) certification required for APRNs.
• National certification is required for Physician Assistants.
• Robot experience required
