Key Responsibilities

The psychiatrist performs advanced psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They lead interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements

Candidates must be licensed as a medical doctor in Texas and be Board Certified or Board eligible in Psychiatry. A current DEA registration and NPI number are required, along with at least three years of psychiatric experience preferred.
