Key Responsibilities
The Psychiatrist performs advanced psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They lead interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans and ensure high-quality care in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Requirements
Candidates must be licensed as a medical doctor in Texas and be Board Certified or Board eligible in Psychiatry. A minimum of three years of psychiatric experience is preferred, along with current DEA registration and NPI number.
