Key Responsibilities

The Medical Director provides clinical leadership by overseeing psychiatric and medical treatment plans, monitoring patient care trends, and developing hospital policies. They also direct quality assurance initiatives, supervise clinical staff, and represent the hospital on governing committees.

Requirements

Candidates must be licensed as a medical doctor in Texas and be Board Certified or Board eligible in Psychiatry. A minimum of three to five years of experience working as a psychiatrist with patients having psychiatric disorders is required.
