Wellness Physical Therapist

Responsible for the full delivery of population interventions, including assessment, individualized wellness strategies, health enhancement and health maintenance strategies. Demonstrates competency performing various patient wellness tests, clinical assessments and evaluations.

Demonstrates competency designing, executing, and evaluating safe, effective wellness programs for individuals and groups. Wellness Therapists are responsible for the application of current knowledge, theory, evidence and sound clinical judgment in patient management.

Responsible for review, analysis, and documentation of patient results in clinical documentation tools. The Wellness Therapist assists with department and program planning. Assists in researching best practices, measuring effectiveness and performance.

Participates as member to collaborative research teams that examine relationships among nutrition, physical activity, resiliency and overall health. Responsible for understanding and promoting the Healthy Living Program philosophy and assisting patients with establishing an ongoing relationship with Mayo Clinic.
