CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) Anesthesiology

. This full-time, on-site position offers an excellent opportunity for an associate-level professional to provide high-quality anesthesia care in a collaborative healthcare environment. You will be an integral part of our surgical team, ensuring patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.

As a CRNA, you will manage anesthesia for a variety of surgical and diagnostic cases, working alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff. Your expertise will directly contribute to positive patient outcomes and a smooth perioperative experience. Responsibilities

Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical and diagnostic procedures.

Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia plans based on patient history and medical status.

• Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed during procedures.
• Manage airway and ventilation, and respond to emergencies with appropriate interventions.
• Document anesthesia care accurately and thoroughly in patient records.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient procedures.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and support patients during recovery, managing pain and side effects.
• Ensure all anesthesia equipment is properly maintained, tested, and ready for use.
• Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures and post-operative expectations.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements at all times.

Requirements

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program (CRNA certification required or eligible).
• Associate-level experience in anesthesia practice preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations are welcome to apply.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques, pharmacology, and patient monitoring.
• Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for working with patients and care teams.
• Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
• Ability to work flexible full-time, on-site schedules, including call coverage as needed.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with anesthesia best practices.

Schedule: 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts

No Call Requirement

Case Mix: OB, adult and pediatric ENT, orthopedics, bariatrics, GI, bread-and-butter surgery, breast, neuro, and trauma

No hearts or thoracic cases

Supervision model

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
