Key Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Navigator I assesses patients in the Emergency Department and develops initial treatment plans to facilitate appropriate disposition and bed placement. They also manage patient information flow, coordinate with psychiatrists, and ensure accurate documentation of psychiatric evaluations.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work with one year of direct mental health experience, or a Master's degree in a related field. Required certifications include CPR, CCMC, and various state-mandated clearances.
