Key Responsibilities
The Behavioral Health Associate monitors patient behavior, provides continuous care, and assists with activities of daily living under the supervision of a licensed nurse. They are also responsible for facilitating educational groups, documenting patient data, and responding to crisis situations or medical emergencies.
Requirements
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and are required to obtain CPR and de-escalation certifications upon hire. Previous experience working with psychiatric populations is preferred.
