About the Opportunity

AnthroMed Education is partnering with a school district to welcome a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join its collaborative school-based therapy team for the remainder of the 2026–2027 school year.

This full-time opportunity is ideal for an OT who enjoys working as part of a supportive team and values collaboration when developing services and interventions for students. You’ll join an established team of two full-time Occupational Therapists and one Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), with this opening representing an opportunity to add a third OT to the team.

The district prioritizes teamwork, shared problem-solving, and providing students with the individualized support they need to succeed. Each school has dedicated space for therapy services, including sensory rooms, and OTs share office space with their colleagues.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students across assigned school buildings.
  • Conduct evaluations and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
  • Develop and implement interventions that support fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, and functional skills.
  • Provide both direct and consultative services based on student needs and IEP requirements.

Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers to support student progress.

Work closely with the district’s OT team to coordinate services, share resources, and distribute caseload responsibilities.

  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to meet individualized goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and track services using the district’s IEP system.

Caseload Details

  • Grade levels: PreK–8th grade, with the primary focus expected to be K–5th grade.
  • School assignments: Approximately 2–3 schools throughout the school year, with one school per day.
  • Caseload: Approximately 40–50 students per OT, with responsibilities distributed collaboratively across the team.
  • Service delivery: A combination of direct therapy, consultative services, and specialized interventions.
  • Team structure: Join two full-time OTs and one COTA in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Therapy resources: Every building has dedicated space for pulling students for therapy, as well as a sensory room.
  • Office space: Shared office space with other Occupational Therapists.
  • Documentation: Use the district’s IEP system and service tracker.
  • Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week, approximately 7:50 AM–3:20 PM.
