Job Description

School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) – Gary, IN

AnthroMed Education is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist to support students in a secondary school setting in Gary, Indiana, for the 2026–2027 school year.

As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will help students develop the functional skills they need to participate in the school environment, access their education, and increase their independence. You will provide individualized services tailored to each student's needs and educational goals.

Position Details

  • Full-time position, Monday–Friday
  • Secondary school setting in Gary, Indiana
  • Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and coordinate with school staff and families as needed
  • Support students with fine motor, sensory, functional, and daily living skills as appropriate

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Active Indiana Occupational Therapy license
  • School-based experience preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Passion for helping students achieve greater independence and educational success
